October EMYoga Tune-Up

This month's focus is: HARMONY.

Sacred Pause: All Hallow's Eve Yoga

All Hallow's Eve or Samhain marks the end of the harvest season on the Wheel of the Year. The work is done and now preparations are made to settle in for the winter. This is also a time for honoring our ancestors and remembering those who have passed before us in this lifetime. This sacred pause will include readings, poses, breath and energy practices, and a mudra meditation.

All Levels Yoga – For Inner & Outer Peace

Yoga for Inner & Outer Peace speaks to what so many of us seek, especially during the holiday season regardless of individual traditions. One of the fundamental principles of Ayurveda is “as in the microcosm, so in the macrocosm,” which means the more we create a peaceful inner environment, the more our outer environment reflects that. And the more of us who cultivate peace within, the more peaceful world becomes.

All Levels Yoga is designed to meet you where you are, whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner. Each class will cycle through a series of movement, relaxation, breath and energy techniques, and quiet contemplation. With these practices, we can be the peace we wish to see in the world.

Yoga Nidra & Meditation – Nov/Dec

'Tis the season for Inner & Outer Peace, what so many of us seek regardless of individual traditions. One of the fundamental principles of Ayurveda is “as in the microcosm, so in the macrocosm,” which means the more we create a peaceful inner environment, the more our outer environment reflects that. Each week, we will focus on cultivating inner peace through yoga nidra and then offering that peace outward through Loving Kindness (metta) Meditation.

December 4 Super Full Moon

HONORING MOON ENERGY. Join us to celebrate the magnificence of this month's Full Cold Moon! Not only is this the last Full Moon of 2025, it is also the last of 3 Super Full Moons that began in October. As part of the Major Lunar Standstill, an astronomical event that occurs every 18-19 years, this December Full Moon will appear even brighter and closer to us, and will be one of the highest rising Full Moons we will not witness again until 2042.

Lunar energy is Yin energy, part of the Divine Feminine within and around us. And while the Full Moon always amplifies this energy, this month's celestial alignments are magnifying her attributes even more – powerful potential for us to explore and harness!

Our class is framed around the Full Moon Salutation with mantra. Energy Medicine Yoga techniques and other practices are selected to reflect and draw within us this month's lunar energy.
